It’s important to make a quality first impression, and that’s exactly what veteran offensive tackle Mike Remmers did with his first tweet after officially signing with the New York Giants on Tuesday afternoon.
Remmers, like most, recognizes that pizza in New York is a big deal. Like, a really big deal. And one of the first questions posed by new signees is often which pizza joint to hit first.
Generally, the question creates quite a debate among fans who pledge their allegiance to different single slices, but Remmers managed to skirt that with an amazing tweet (through Instagram) that immediately won over Giants Twitter.
Green Bay Packers guard Lucas Patrick was among the first to reply, telling Remmers he was “a legend” for the Michael Scott reference.
We agree.
If Remmers’ remarkable New York introduction is a sign of things to come, Giants fans can find some solace in knowing that he’ll entertain them as much off the field as he does on the field.
