Mike Perry plans on confronting Colby Covington at UFC 245

Mike Perry is intending on causing a little bit of chaos during the UFC 245 fight week.

He takes on Geoff Neal at the Dec. 14 event at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena and will be sharing the card with former interim welterweight champion Colby Covington, who headlines the event when he takes on current champ Kamaru Usman for the 170-pound title.

And Perry said if he crosses paths with Covington in Las Vegas, he plans on confronting him.

“I’m going to give Covington a problem all week long,” Perry said on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show. “Lets see if he’s thinking about the right things when he gets in the ring. I hope he hears about this, and if he catches sight of me, it’s on sight.”

Covington has made some rather harsh comments towards Perry’s wife before, who’s often seen in his corner for his fights. Naturally, that didn’t sit well with Perry, who said he won’t hold back if he catches sight of him.

“I won’t be looking for him – I’ll be looking to do my own thing – but if I catch a glimpse, you know, I might sneak over,” Perry said.

“Maybe he’s looking for clout because he can’t get none with that crotch-sniffing style.”

Perry will look to get back in the win column when he takes on the streaking Neal. It’s a relatively quick turnaround for Perry, who recently had his nose smashed, forcing him to undergo surgery, in a loss to Vicente Luque in August.
