Mike Milbury said ‘what the fudge?’ on live TV during Game 2 and fans couldn’t believe it

Mike Milbury isn’t afraid to say what he thinks, which often leads hockey fans to wishing he didn’t have his job covering the NHL with NBC Sports.

But the crusty old-timer who used to play for the Boston Bruins and also coached the team for a few years in the 1990s can be good for some classic head-scratching moments during NBC’s coverage of the playoffs.

That happened during Wednesday night’s Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final between the St. Louis Blues and Boston Bruins when it sounded like he might have dropped an F-bomb on live TV while talking in-between the third period and OT.

But if you give it a listen it’s clear that he said fudge:
