Arsenal have had a difficult start to the Premier League season.
The Gunners have picked up nine points from a possible 18, and have now lost their last two games in a row in domestic competition, with back-to-back defeats against Manchester City and Leicester City.
Up next is a game against a team similarly struggling in Manchester United, who have picked up seven points from their opening five fixtures.
A fixture against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side may just have come at a decent time for Mikel Arteta, however, with United picking up just one point from three matches at Old Trafford so far.
A defeat against Crystal Palace was followed by the 6-1 mauling from Jose Mourinho's Spurs side, and Arteta will be hoping his side can inflict some similar damage on United.
But one thing the Gunners will definitely have to be wary of is giving away penalties against United.
Solskjaer's side were awarded a record 14 penalty-kicks in the 2019-20 Premier League season - and another eight in all competitions.
Referee Mike Dean has been placed in charge of Sunday's clash - and he has awarded United more than any other big-six club.
Dean has awarded United 16 penalties in the 61 matches he has officiated with them, averaging one every 3.81 games.
However, in 64 Arsenal matches officiated by Dean, just three penalties have been awarded to the Gunners - one every 21.33 games.
