Mike Ashley returned to the Newcastle United scene for their final game of the season at Craven Cottage.
The Magpies owner had been in the Middle East for most of the year but returned last week and headed to the banks of the Thames to watch United look to wrap the season against the relegated Cottagers.
Ashley has not been present since autumn 2020 when he took in games at the start of the season and joined players for a steak night on the Quayside.
It remains to be seen whether Ashley gets the opportunity to address the team or head coach Bruce after a tough season.
His arbitration battle with the Premier League is due to start in July while he is expecting top-flight chiefs to delay his anti-competition claim on June 11 when proceedings are set to heat up.
