One small leap for Miguel has turned into one giant lawsuit for mankind. It’s almost two years to the day since the R&B singer misjudged a jump from the stage at the Billboard Music Awards, only to crash into two female fans. At the time lawyer’s for Khyati Shah, one of the women involved, spoke to TMZ, alleging that Miguel’s fall may have given her a head injury – although no lawsuit materialised.

Now the other woman involved has decided to press sue the singer, claiming that the leap left her with injuries.

According to TMZ, Cindy Tsai is suing both Miguel and the venue, the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, for negligence. She wants to be reimbursed for medical bills as well as lost wages.

Despite the early claims from Shah’s lawyer, Miguel and Shah appeared in a picture together shortly after the incident. Miguel told Billboard at the time: “I think it’s kind of clear what happened. Unfortunately we did not meet under the best circumstances, but I think we’re okay.”
