Miguel Almiron on what Newcastle United have to do to beat Sheffield United

Miguel Almiron believes that Newcastle United can get the better of Sheffield United tonight as long as they put in a similar performance as the 2-2 draw with Man City.

The Magpies came back twice to claim a point at St James' Park last weekend, and Almiron believes that Steve Bruce's men can take the positives form that result to Bramall Lane.

Despite Sheffield United being unbeaten in seven, and having held high-flying Wolves and Manchester United in their last two games, Almiron is in good spirits about the possible outcome.

"They've made a very good start to the season," he said.

"As a club, they have a good squad with strength in depth, and there are some top quality players in there, but nevertheless we will go there and try to play our own style, impose ourselves on the game, and try to get the win.

"We need to stay calm, focused and try to play at a high tempo just as we did against Manchester City.

"We need to try and keep hold of the ball and try to play our own game - which if we do should give us the chance to go on and win the game.

"It would be a very important three points for us."

Steve Bruce is expected to have a near full fit squad to pick from with Andy Carroll and DeAndre Yedlin hoping to be included after missing the City game through injury.
