'Might as well have loaned him out' - Chelsea fans can't believe the team Lampard named vs Hull

Chelsea are in the north east for their FA Cup fourth round clash on Saturday.

The Blues take on Championship side Hull City in the Saturday evening kick-off at the KCOM Stadium.

Frank Lampard's side have won just twice in their last five games, including the third round victory over Nottingham Forest at the start of the month.

And Lampard will be calling on his side to build some momentum for the second half of the campaign.

Lampard has made a number of changes for the cup tie, namely in goal, with under-fire keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga replaced by Willy Caballero.

But there are a number of young players in the squad too, including Ian Maatsen, Billy Gilmour and Tariq Lamptey.

However, none of them were named in the starting lineup.

Lampard named all three on the bench and the decision not to start Gilmour in particular has left the Blues fans bemused.

The Blues fans clearly want to see the young players given a chance to shine.

And Mason Mount being in the starting lineup has not pleased the supporters either, with the Blues fans thinking the young England international needs a rest.

Marcos Alonso's appearance on the teamsheet is a welcome one, though.
