FC Midtjylland have been hit with a Covid blow ahead of their Champions League clash with Celtic.
The Danish side are due to travel to Glasgow in less than a week for their second qualifying round first leg with the Parkhead giants.
It will be Ange Postecoglou 's first competitive game in charge and it will also be a big day for counterpart Bo Henriksen who takes charge of Midtjylland for the first time since joining from Horsens.
But their preparations have been disrupted after promising winger Aral Simsir tested positive for Covid.
It rules him out of the trip to Scotland and the Danes are confident he is the only positive case within the camp.
But they are concerned about an outbreak and have confirmed that "stricter measures" will be in place with all players set to undergo a test ahead of their clash with Odense BK on Friday.
A statement on the Midtjylland website reads: "Aral Simsir has been tested positive for corona and is in isolation. He is presumed to have been infected privately and thus not in the club's environment. He has not shown any symptoms.
"Players and staff make the necessary reservations, and we have launched stricter measures.
"The rest of the team has tested negative and will be tested again before Friday's match against OB in the 3F Superliga.
"Thus, everyone who is on or around the team will have repeated negative tests before participating in a match."
Simsir has only made a handful of appearances for the Midtjylland first-team but had been hoping to earn a place in the matchday squad for the crunch Champions League tie.
The bigger fear at Midtjylland will be that more cases have slipped through the cracks in the first round of testing and they will find out the state of play on Friday afternoon.
