Middleton Hall Care Home in Uphall turned into a fairy trail

The historic grounds of a care home have been turned into a magical fairy trail.

The trail in the grounds of Middleton Hall Care Home in Uphall has been decorated with brightly-painted fairy doors bearing the name of the child, family or organisation that sponsored them.

The home hosted an event where visitors were able to enjoy carol singing and visit a Christmas market as they made their way round the trail.

The trail was put together by the care home and local charities Smile and Mia’s Aim.

Money raised from the initiative will go towards the Smile Centre, which supports elderly people.

The fairy trail will open again at Easter fo an Easter egg hunt.

Home manager Ann Simpson said: “We are proud to be part of such a rewarding initiative.

“The trail is a lovely way to bring the community together and it’s particularly great to see excited children exploring the trail in search of their own fairy door.”
