PHOENIX _ Talking Stick Resort Arena was abuzz with excitement heading into Wednesday's game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns, a contest that brought the return of point guard Eric Bledsoe, who pushed his way out of Phoenix via a trade to Milwaukee on Nov. 7.
While it wasn't always pretty, the game certainly didn't disappoint.
The Bucks squandered a four-point lead late in regulation, and Suns guard Devin Booker sent the game to overtime with a turnaround, fadeaway three-pointer from 30 feet out at the buzzer.
Milwaukee came up with the clutch plays in the extra period, notably DeAndre Liggins making his only shot of the night _ after playing 40 minutes _ and Khris Middleton finishing his 40-point game at the foul line to ice a 113-107 victory.
Bledsoe, who was booed throughout the night every time he touched the ball, finished with 30 points and seven assists. Booker had 23 to lead the Suns while Greg Monroe, who was sent to Phoenix in the Bledsoe trade, put up 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds against his former team.
