Palace are likely to remain without Christian Benteke until the New Year having undergone knee surgery earlier this month.
Joel Ward could also miss out as he continues to recover from a muscular injury while Scott Dann is not expected to return from a long-term knee injury until mid-November.
Max Meyer has completed the full 90 minutes in Palace colours just twice this season – both in this competition. Another start could beckon on Wednesday.
