Boro plan to sue Derby

Middlesbrough are planning to sue Derby for finding a loophole in EFL financial regulations.

Boro informed the Rams of their decision to sue on Friday as they question the stadium sale, Sky Sports reports .

Lampard expects to stay with Rams

Frank Lampard is planning for next season at Derby County.

The Chelsea legend will meet with Rams officials this week to discuss transfer targets.

Lampard is bookies' favourite to take over from Maurizio Sarri at the Blues, but both the player and club are adamant no contact has been made.

Stiepermann signs new deal with Canaries

Marco Stiepermann has signed a new three-year deal with newly-promoted Norwich City.

The midfielder scored nine goals in the Championship as the Canaries won the title.

The German made 43 league appearances last season as he played a key role in their promotion.

Terry not in rush to become manager

John Terry is in no rush to become a football manager.

Former England and Chelsea defender Terry became assistant boss at Aston Villa following the appointment of manager Dean Smith in October.

Villa have been promoted after winning the play-off final, but Terry is keen to continue learning as an assistant before becoming a manager himself.
