Middlesbrough plot raid on Cardiff City and ex-Leeds veteran, West Ham unhappy with £2m striker bid from Norwich as Fulham move in for QPR youngster — transfer rumours

Former Cardiff City boss eyes move for Bamba

Neil Warnock is said to be interested in making a move for Cardiff City’s Sol Bamba to acquire his services for Middlesbrough.

TEAMtalk report that Boro boss Warnock wishes to raid his former club for the 35-year-old veteran defender as plans to bring new faces to Boro haven't gone to plan.

Bamba is a real fan favourite and has spent the last four seasons in the Welsh capital, playing a total of 111 times for the Bluebirds and scoring 10 goals during that time.

The report states that Boro have not yet approached the Bluebirds over a deal for Bamba, but hope he will be allowed to move for a "nominal" fee.

Struggle to agree fee for Hugill

West Ham United are reportedly struggling to agree a fee with Norwich City for former Preston North End striker Jordan Hugill.

Football Insider reports that the relegated Canaries have currently offered £2m for the striker, which is below West Ham’s £5m valuation.

Hugill spent last season on loan at QPR and has played just a handful of games for the Hammers since joining from the Deepdale club in January 2018 in a reported £10m deal.

The 28-year-old scored 15 goals in 41 games for the Loftus Road outfit last season.

QPR star Eze attracts fresh Premier League interest

Fulham are the latest top flight club linked with a move for QPR’s Eberechi Eze.

West London Sport reports that the Cottagers are preparing to make a move for the 22-year-old forward.

Eze has previously attracted interest from West Ham United and Crystal Palace, the latter of whom reportedly had a transfer deal with £12m turned down by Rangers.

Eze scored 14 goals in 48 games for QPR last season.
