Middle East expansion for Exterity

Video and digital signage technology firm Exterity is expanding its base in the Middle East as it continues to win new business in the region.

The Edinburgh-headquartered company works with clients across sectors including hospitality and oil and gas with customers including include hotel group Jumeirah and Abu Dhabi Airport.

The firm has taken on Zaher Ajeeb as Saudi Arabian sales manager and former BskyB and Virgin Media employee Victor Hasan as regional sales manager for the hospitality sector as part of the expansion. It has also added a number of staff to its technical support teams in both Saudi Arabia and UAE.

Expansion of the team has seen the firm recently move into larger premises at the Dubai Internet City base.

“Exterity entered the Middle Eastern market over 10 years ago and our impact and success could not have been achieved without our hugely talented local team,” said chief executive Colin Farquhar.

“The strength of our local team and technology enables us to work with some of the most recognisable names in the Middle East.”

The company signed its first deal in the Middle East 2006 and opened an office in Dubai in 2008.
