Mics picked up a loud F-bomb during the Nickelodeon broadcast of Niners-Cowboys

The NFL was always taking a bit of a risk when it signed off on the Nickelodeon broadcast for Wild Card weekend. After all, football is a violent game, and there are microphones everywhere. They can throw in all the CGI slime they want, but a rogue F-bomb was bound to find its way onto the broadcast.

It happened last year during the Saints-Bears playoff game, which drew a hilarious reaction from the Nickelodeon crew. Well, the tradition continued on Sunday.

Late in the second quarter of the Niners-Cowboys NFC Wild Card matchup, a player — likely George Kittle — shouted an F-bomb loud enough for the mics to pick up for all the kids watching on Nick.

This year, it didn’t seem like the broadcast crew acknowledged the foul language. But we heard it. We all did.

But let’s be honest, this is going to become an annual tradition for the Nick broadcast unless it actively tries to mute out cursing. We can check back here next year.
