Mics picked up a Jaguars player admitting they didn’t know what they were doing against the 49ers

By now, NFL players should realize that there’s no place on the football field that is safe from microphones. Whether it’s from NFL Films or the actual broadcast, fans can hear a lot of what gets said on the field.

And during Sunday’s game between the Jaguars and 49ers, we heard a hilarious moment of honesty from an unknown Jaguars player.

With the Niners already up big in the third quarter and the Jaguars on offense, the broadcast microphones picked up Fred Warner saying, “They don’t know what they’re doing.” The trash talk was pretty standard, but the response was truly something else.

A player responded back, “You’re right. We don’t.”

Obviously, whoever said this was just voicing frustrations. The Jaguars were down 27-3 at the time and ended up losing 34-3. It wasn’t pretty. But you rarely hear any player admit defeat like that to an opponent with an entire quarter left to play.

It was just one of those days for Jacksonville, and it gave us the hot mic of the season.
