Microsoft Teams and Outlook down for thousands of users in major outage

Thousands of users have reported problems in accessing Microsoft Teams and Outlook.

Microsoft said it is currently investigating issues impacting multiple Microsoft 365 services this morning (Wednesday). According to DownDetector, over 3,000 people have logged outages accessing Outlook in the past 24 hours.

Over 2,000 people have also logged problems in accessing Microsoft 365. Microsoft tweeted: "We're investigating issues impacting multiple Microsoft 365 services. More info can be found in the admin center under MO502273.

"We've identified a potential networking issue and are reviewing telemetry to determine the next troubleshooting steps. You can find additional information on our status page at https://msft.it/6011eAYPc or on SHD under MO502273."

One user said: "All Office 365 apps down..."

Another said: "Users of Microsoft 365 services including Teams and Outlook have reported the service is down."

A third said: "Buckle up folks, Microsoft 365 is having some issues today."
