Microsoft is starting to get a bit more serious about the threat of Linux. It has put a page of The Facts about TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) online to support its latest advertising campaign. And as CNet also reports, it is expected to give away "a new version of Services for Unix (SFU), a collection of tools that help Windows systems to work with installations based on the Unix operating system and its open-source derivative, Linux."
Comment: I always thought SFU stood for something else -- Simon Fraser University, in Vancouver, BC.
