Mickey Moran shows his class with kind gesture after Kilcoo's All-Ireland win

Mickey Moran showed his class after Kilcoo's All-Ireland Senior Football Club Championship win over the weekend.

The veteran manager finally guided a side to an All-Ireland title and there scenes of celebrations as the final whistle went at Croke Park.

A late goal from Jerome Johnston's was the strike that buried Kilmacud Crokes - and sealed glory for the Down men.

But Moran had one thing to do before he joined in the celebrations and that was to offer Kilmacud manager Robbie Brennan a hug.

The 69-year-old shrugged off the congratulations as he walked down the touch-line to the opposition boss.

Cahair O'Kane from The Irish News shared the brilliant video on Twitter and fans couldn't get enough of it.

One said: "A mark of the man. A gent to his fingertips."

Another commented: "It’s a mark of the person that Mickey is, so delighted for him, he has been showing that class for years and I’m delighted for him to have his first All Ireland."

One other tweet read: "One of the giants of the game - and one of the gents. Great man."

A great man indeed.
