Mickey Gall says ‘(Expletive) Mike Perry’ after Twitter crack

NEWARK, N.J. – Back in the win column in front of a home crowd, welterweight Mickey Gall was in a pretty good mood after UFC on ESPN 5.

Only fellow welterweight Mike Perry could damper things for a brief moment as Gall contemplated his future. A crack from Perry brought a quick response from the up-and-comer.

“(Expletive) Mike Perry,” Gall said.

Perry called out Gall on Twitter for making excuses about a loss to his teammate Diego Sanchez, who stopped Gall in March. Gall claimed he suffered kidney failure prior to the bout and shouldn’t have competed.

That opinion didn’t sit well with Gall, who wants to return in October or November when the UFC hits Boston and New York, respectively.

“Yeah, (expletive) it,” Gall said when asked if he’d like to fight Perry next. “If he gets through my boy Vicente Luque, me and Perry could absolutely do it.”

Usually, Gall is the one requesting fights. Perry is booked to face Luque on Saturday at UFC on ESPN+ 14, but there’s no reason the two couldn’t square off after that.

Gall said fans saw the real him after a hard-fought win over Salim Touahri, which he took on short notice. He’s ready to take over the world again, and Perry might be a good start.
