Mick Schumacher has more pressure on him due to his illustrious surname, according to Felipe Massa.
The ex-F1 star says the young German is carrying a burden of being the son of Michael Schumacher, who won seven world championships.
The 22-year-old has failed to register a point for Haas this season and with just two races remaining in the campaign, time is running out for him to get off the mark in his debut season.
A poorly performing car, which is the slowest on the grid, has not helped the driver’s chances, and Massa believes F1 fans 'expect things he can never fulfil' due to his car's lack of pace in his debut campaign.
“In general, the name Schumacher is a burden for Mick,' Massa told Die Welt .

“It helps him to get sponsors and he gets a lot of support. But people expect things he can never fulfil. The pressure is extremely high.
“The Haas is the worst car in Formula 1, he doesn't have the best team-mate – if he had someone who had more experience he would be able to measure himself much better,' Massa explained.
“We'll have to wait until he has a better car and a better team-mate.”
Schumacher will hope for an upturn in fortunes next season, where he will remain at Haas alongside Nikita Mazepin.
Mick feels life has been "unfair" in depriving him of the chance to share his F1 journey with legendary father Michael .
The seven-time world champion has spent the last eight years recovering after hitting his head on a rock in a horror accident while skiing off-piste in the French Alps.
While he will no doubt be pleased with what he has managed to achieve in his fledgling career so far, Mick rues the fact he cannot discuss his racing in the detail that he would want to with his father.
"I think dad and me, we would understand each other in a different way now," the emotional racer said.
"Simply because we speak a similar language – the language of motorsport.
"We would have had much more to talk about and that is where my head is most of the time, thinking that would be so cool.
"That would be it. I would give up everything just for that. Yes."
