Stars of The Only Way is Essex have paid tribute to Mick Norcross, who has died aged 57.
Norcross, the father of one of Towie’s main celebrities, Kirk Norcross, was the founder of The Sugar Hut, the nightclub that regularly featured in the ITV2 reality series.
He was found dead at his home in Bulphan, Essex on Thursday (21 January), and police said they are not treating it as suspicious.
Following the news, several of the show’s stars have paid tribute to Norcross.
Mario Falcone called him “the perfect gentleman”, writing on Twitter: “I am thankful I got the privilege of having you in my life.”
Gemma Collins said that Norcross was “always a gentleman”, telling her followers: “Absolutely shocked and saddened by the news. My thoughts and prayers are going out to [the] Kirk family… absolutely tragic.”
She added: “The memories of the early days [of] The Sugar Hut and the wonderful filming parties you put on will never be forgotten.”
Lauren Goodger said that she “can’t believe it” in reply to Collins’ message.
James Argent, who was known on the show as “Arg”, wrote: "A true gentleman & a very kind man! RIP Mick. Many amazing memories, So Sad! My thoughts are with his family."
