Mick McCarthy has made two significant changes ahead of tonight's crunch meeting with Georgia

Ireland boss Mick McCarthy has made two changes to the team that narrowly beat Gibraltar last Friday ahead of tonight's crunch game against Georgia.

Wolves fullback Matt Doherty is out of tonight's crunch Euro 2020 qualifier at the Aviva as veteran Glenn Whelan returns to the Ireland starting XI.

Sean Maguire also comes out as Euro 2016 hero Robbie Brady gets a start with David McGoldrick likely to lead the lines ahead of a midfield also including last week's Man of the Match Conor Hourihane, Jeff Hendrick and James McClean.

There are no changes in defence as the solid partnership of Shane Duffy and Richard Keogh are joined by Seamus Coleman and Enda Stevens on either side - Randolph remains in goals.
