Michigan State will not have the services of Darrell Stewart or Matt Allen against Illinois after both were hurt against Penn State.
Neither player can be found on MSU’s depth chart vs. Illinois and coach Mark Dantonio confirmed the two would be unavailable against the Illini. Dantonio wouldn’t speak to the specifics of the injuries but did say he expects both to be back at some point this season.
It’s certainly a blow to MSU’s offense as Allen had been a steady presence on a shaky offensive line and Stewart has been statistically one of the top receivers in the Big Ten all season.
