Michigan State Superfan gets wild tattoo celebrating 2015 win over U of M

It is a play that will live in infamy. It was a play that sparked the first and only College Football Playoff berth for Michigan State, and a play that has sparked numerous memes, jokes, and stories. Michigan State, on the road against in-state rivals Michigan, needed a miracle to beat the Wolverines in Ann Arbor and keep their perfect season alive. A miracle is exactly what they got.

Down 23-21 with 10 seconds left, Michigan punter Blake O’Neill had trouble with the snap and fumbled the football, which was picked up by Jalen Watts-Jackson, and returned for a touchdown. Michigan State won the game 27-23.

After the win, Michigan State went on to win its third Big Ten Championship in six years, beating Iowa 16-13. They would go on to earn their first trip to the College Football Playoff, with a result that we will not be reminding our readers of..

One fan, @PeachJames on Twitter, decided to get a very 2019 tattoo to commemorate the play. The tattoo is a scannable QR code, and when scanned, well:

This is just unbelievable, next-level trolling. It seems like this play will just never die and could continue being extremely meme-able for years to come, much to the delight of Spartans fans, and the chagrin of Michigan fans.
