Michigan State Football released their first hype video for the 2019-20 Football season on their official Twitter account today and it was absolutely fantastic.
The video is paired up with a quote taken directly from the new live-action Lion King movie coming out soon. It is Chiwetel Ejiofor, who voices Scar in the upcoming film, that provides the backdrop for the video:
“Life’s not fair, is it, my little friend? While some are born to feast, others spend their lives in the dark, begging for scraps.”
It’s a really chilling and awesome narration as the short video takes you around East Lansing and Spartan Stadium.

The season will officially start on August 30th when the Spartans face Tulsa at home in East Lansing. As a reminder, you will now be able to reserve a premium tailgating package through Tailgate Guys, a first for the University.
