One of the top running backs in college football is leaving school early for the pros.
Michigan State’s Kenneth Walker III is declaring for the 2022 NFL draft, and will skip the Spartans’ bowl game, per his announcement on social media Thursday.
Walker was dominant in 2021, taking home both the Walter Camp Player of the Year and the Doak Walker Award (best running back). He now enters the 2022 draft as one of the best running back prospects in the class, and could end up being the first one off the board.
