Michigan State is trending in the right direction towards a big-time in-state prospect in the 2023 class.
A pair of recruiting insiders submitted crystal ball predictions in favor of the Spartans for four-star offensive tackle Jonathan Slack of Detroit. Slack plays for Detroit’s Martin Luther King High School, and is rated as the No. 4 prospect in the state of Michigan for the 2023 class.
Slack is also ranked as the No. 17 interior lineman and No. 272 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2023 class.
Slack holds scholarship offers from 13 schools, including Michigan State, Arizona State, Kentucky, Boston College, Ole Miss, Oregon, Syracuse, Tennessee and West Virginia.
Slack would be a huge get for the Spartans so this is big news for the program. Hopefully, these crystal ball predictions come true and Michigan State can add this major prospect to its 2023 class.
