After a two-week absence, Michigan State is back in the Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.
MSU comes in at No. 23 in the Amway poll. Last week they were third in the “others receiving votes” section, 28th overall.
Michigan State beat Indiana 40-31 Saturday night at Spartan Stadium and after a few early struggles, the Spartan offense has seemingly found life the last two weeks, scoring 31 and 34 points against good defenses in Northwestern and Indiana. The defense, despite a rough night, is still thought of as one of the nation’s best.
Michigan State is the sixth-highest ranked Big Ten team behind Ohio State (5th), Wisconsin (9th), Penn State (11th), Iowa (14th) and Michigan (18th).
Michigan State travels to Columbus this weekend to take on Ohio State.
