Summer League is one of my favorite parts of the NBA season, as you get a chance to see the next crop of NBA players make their first appearances at the pro level. It is a time for college players to prove that their game can adapt to the next level and that they have skills valuable to an NBA team. For Spartans fans, this will be a highly entertaining Summer League, with a nice group of young players to watch.
Here is the complete list of Spartans who are currently slated to participate in the annual event, courtesy of HoopsHype:
Miles Bridges, who has been open that he was dissatisfied with his play last year, will play for the Charlotte Hornets Summer League squad.
Nick Ward will be playing with the Atlanta Hawks.

Matt McQuaid will be getting a tryout with the Detroit Pistons.

Kenny Goins will have an opportunity with the Denver Nuggets.

We will continue to update this page if any other players make their way to a Summer League lineup. Some names to look out for are Kalin Lucas and Matt Costello.
