The Week 2 Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports is now live and Michigan State has moved up one position to number 19 in the weekly ranking. This comes largely due to their thumping of Western Michigan last night, 51-17. MSU was ranked number 20 in last week’s ranking.
Michigan State will have an opportunity to continue their rise up the rankings with a matchup at home against Arizona State next weekend. Of course, the Spartans lost to the Sun Devils on the road last season in a loss that really took the air out the season before it really even got started.
That game will be on Saturday at 4pm ET on FOX at Spartan Stadium.
