Michigan State linebacker Brandon Bouyer-Randle enters NCAA transfer portal

The transfer portal giveth, the transfer portal taketh.

Redshirt junior Brandon Bouyer-Randle has entered into the NCAA transfer portal.

Bouyer-Randle, a reserve outside linebacker, has played in all four games this season, but has only registered five tackles in limited playing time.

The NCAA started the transfer portal last season and players who enter it are allowed to be contacted by coaches from different teams regarding a transfer. The players in the portal are also free to remain with their current program, so while it’s a step out the door for Bouyer-Randle, he could in theory return to MSU.

Bouyer-Randle is the first MSU player to utilize the transfer portal. Michigan State added wide receiver Jayden Reed as a transfer this past offseason.
