Michigan State lands commitment of 3-star RB Jordon Simmons

Michigan State’s 2019 football season has left much to be desired, but the 2020 recruiting season continues to roll on and Michigan State and Mark Dantonio have landed the commitment of 3-star running back Jordon Simmons out of Powder Springs, Georgia’s McEachern High School.

Simmons is the 39th ranked running back in the 2020 recruiting class and the number 57 ranked player in the state of Georgia. He is the 586 ranked player in the nation. He received offers to MSU, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, West Virginia, and LSU.

Simmons said that he made his decision early in September and then had committed without much fanfare over the phone, but made the announcement today.

You can watch his commitment video below:

“I chose Michigan State because it’s a family atmosphere… It’s a great environment. I have a great relationship with the coaches.” – Jordon Simmons.
