Michigan State jumps back into top-25 in latest AP Poll

Michigan State football was left out of the Amway Coaches Poll top-25 (but still received the third most votes of teams not ranked), but they received more respect in the AP Poll, re-entering the top-25 at number 25 after their win on the road over Northwestern.

I am not going to complain too much about this, because I’m mostly just happy to see them back in the top-25, but I do think SEC schools get way too much leniency in these rankings, with Texas A&M still being ranked above MSU despite going 2-2 on the season thus far.

I think that if Michigan State continues their momentum from their win against Northwestern just another week or two, people will start to look at their loss to ASU as an anomaly and rank them accordingly.
