Day two of round two is upon us!
The Spartans Wire MSU GIF Tournament rolls along today with another batch of strong contenders. In the Green Region eight has become four and four must become two.
The biggest upset of round one happened in this region and we’ll see if that Cinderella run can continue.
Let’s get to the GIFs!!

#1 The Wink vs. #5 Tony LippHIT
I may have completely misread how to rank the Green region as the two strongest first round performers are the two lowest seeds left. The #1 seed in the region looks like it has a tough task in round two.

Maybe this GIF wasn’t fully appreciated in round one because of its freshness and lack of a quality opponent, but I hope its greatness is fully realized today. This GIF is a modern marvel. It should be in the Louvre. I don’t even know how it was coordinated this well. It’s not only the best GIF in this tournament, it’s one of the best GIFs ever made.
It takes on a fan-favorite GIF.

There’s a good seven yards between the point of contact and where the kicker stopped moving. Good god this is an unbelievably violent hit. It makes a Tarantino movie look tame. I don’t think it should advance, but I really think it might. Y’all love the big hits.
#3 Coughlin’s Belly Slide vs. #7 Le’Veon Hurdles Notre Dame
I wasn’t surprised to see Tony LippHIT move on easily, but I was pretty stunned at the next upset. First, the higher seed.

Oh, McLovin. You’re just the best. Is MSU the greatest kicker celebration school in the country? Between this and the Geiger windmill, you’ve got a pretty strong case. It’s not the best thing to be known for, but it’s something.
It takes on our Cinderella . . .

This Gif smashes Caissius running out the clock in the Elite Eight. I thought the sentimental value would carry the day there, but clearly I was wrong. And I don’t blame you for choosing this GIF. It’s a damn beautiful piece of art. It’s like Butler in 2010, clearly and obviously way under-seeded.
