Michigan State gets 4th recruit in five days with Ohio linebacker Jeff Pietrowski

Michigan State football recruiting has awoken from its slumber.

Just a few days ago MSU’s 2020 class was near empty and causing some concern among the fanbase. As is typical for Mark Dantonio and co., just days after MSU held its camp for elite high school prospects, the class started to fill out.

MSU today adds Jeff Pietrowski, a 3-star edge player from Ohio powerhouse St. Edward. Pietrowski chose MSU over Boston College, Pittsburgh, Minnesota and Cincinnati. Pietrowski joins Pennsylvania linebacker Cal Haladay, Indiana defensive end Kyle King and Illinois Kicker Jack Olsen as additions to the MSU class in the last five days. The three positional players are all three-star prospects, while Olsen doesn’t have a rating because kicker recruiting is weird.

MSU’s class sits at eight commits and has moved up to 51st in the country and 9th in the Big Ten. Take those ratings with a grain of salt, as it is June 18th and a lot will change before signing day.

Also, it’s recruiting, to call it an inexact science would be an insult to things that are inexact.
