Mel Tucker plays chess, not checkers. Back in July, Michigan State football landed the commitment of 2022 3-star tight end Jack Nickel. On Friday, the Spartans offered his brother Luke Nickel, a 2025 prospect who happens to be one of the top young high school quarterbacks in Georgia.
Nickel is poised to be one of the top recruits in the 2025 recruiting class, and should get interest from practically every top program in the country. The Spartans are getting in early here and might have a leg up through the commitment of his brother.
