For whatever reason, Mel Tucker has had a lot of success recruiting in New Jersey for his 2021 class since becoming the head coach at MSU. For his 2022 class, Tucker will once again attempt to recruit some top talent in New Jersey. On Thursday, Michigan State Football offered 4-star defensive end Kenny Fletcher out of Delran, New Jersey.
247Sports has Fletcher as the No. 7 ranked player in the state of New Jersey by his composite ranking and the No. 10 ranked player by their in-house rankings. He is also their No. 15 ranked weakside defensive end and No. 314 ranked player overall. For reference, the top-ranked player in Tucker’s 2021 class is No. 323 overall.
Fletcher has been predictably popular on the recruiting trail, garnering offers from Kentucky, Michigan, Louisville, Nebraska, Penn State, Pitt, and many more.
