The Breslin Center will be the home for a battle between a pair of Big Ten bottom feeders on Saturday, as the Spartans look to break out of a brutal slump against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Michigan State enters Saturday night’s match-up vs. Nebraska in the midst of a four-game losing streak and with their 22-season NCAA Tournament streak on the line. The Spartans are considered by many to have slim chances at extending that impressive streak, and a loss to the lousy Cornhuskers on Saturday would all but kill those slim odds.
Nebraska enters this match-up as the only Big Ten team without a conference win this year. The Cornhuskers also are entering this game off a nearly month-long COVID-19 pause, making them somewhat of a wildcard in this match-up.
