Let’s take a brief break from football fever for some Michigan State basketball news.
Michigan State has announced its conference basketball schedule, completing their full season schedule.
Some of the conference highlights include an early contest against Michigan, with Juwan Howard making his first trip to the Breslin Center as UofM’s coach early in the conference season on January 5.
MSU has two games against Wisconsin this season, at home on January 17 and in Madison on February 1. Maryland is another home-and-home opponent with MSU hosting Maryland February 15 and visiting College Park February 29 for a Leap Day showdown.
MSU only plays Purdue once, on the road January 12. The Spartans will also host Ohio State on Senior Day March 8, the only time the two teams face off.
MSU’s other home-and-home opponents are Minnesota, Illinois, Northwestern and Penn State.
