Michigan State basketball’s A.J. Hoggard enters NBA draft but maintains college eligibility

When a list was published late on Tuesday night containing the names of every college basketball player who will be testing the NBA draft waters, it was, of course, no surprise to see Michigan State basketball guard Jaden Akins on that list. What was surprising, was to see A.J. Hoggard, MSU’s point guard, also on that list.

Not that this is a surprising move at all, but Hoggard, unlike Akins, kept this decision close to the vest and didn’t post anything about this move on Twitter or Instagram like most players do.

Hoggard will keep his college eligibility during this process as he gauges how NBA clubs see him as an NBA prospect.
