Michigan State Basketball has lacked size at times this season. I think Tom Izzo will set out to remedy that in the future, offering 3-star power forward Jai Smith on Sunday. This news came according to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.
Smith is a 6-foot-9, 235-pound power forward in the 2022 recruiting class. He currently plays for Bull City Prep in Syracuse, New York. He is the No. 29 ranked power forward in the 2022 class and the No. 5 ranked player in the state of New York by 247Sports.
He is currently being heavily pursued by Kansas and Maryland. Weingarten also reported that he could be considering a reclassification to the 2021 recruiting class.
