It was another successful week for the Michigan State basketball team. The Spartans dove in headfirst into Big Ten competition, and came away unscathed after defeating Minnesota 75-67 on the road and Penn State 80-64 at home.
The voters of the Associated Press (AP) poll have also taken notice of the new look Spartan team, and the improvements they have made.
In this week’s poll, the Spartans have moved up 7 spots to No. 12.

The Spartans will look to continue rising in the polls as they close out their nonconference slate.
