According to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers, Michigan State Basketball and head coach Tom Izzo might be closing in on extending an offer to one of the better prospects in the 2022 recruiting class. He reported on Wednesday that the Spartans had hosted a virtual meeting with 4-star power forward Isaac Traudt out of Grand Island, Nebraska.
Traudt is the top ranked player in Nebraska and the No. 10 ranked power forward in the 2022 class by the 247Sports composite rankings. He is also their No. 56 ranked player overall.
Traudt is 6-foot-9, 195 lbs and already has a multitude of offers out from big schools around the country like Oregon, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Purdue, Wisconsin and more.
