After taking out USC and Marquette in the first weekend, Michigan State is headed to the Sweet 16 where they will have a date with the Kansas State Wildcats.
The Spartans will look to continue their run through March by hopefully defeating the Wildcats and moving onto the Elite 8. It wont be an easy task, though, as Kansas State is filled with star power and can score the ball in bunches while providing strong defense.

Analysis
Kansas State is not a very deep team, and they will not go to their bench much in this game, but they do have two stars in their starting lineup. Keyontae Johnson and Markquis Nowell are elite scorers and talents, and both have the capability to take over a game.
Limiting role player production will be key in this game, because the Wildcats two stars will surely be able to score the basketball.
Michigan State’s defense will have a tough matchup on Thursday.
