Tom Izzo was on the podium for his first press conference of the 2021-22 season as practicing is set to begin. The Spartans are looking for a huge bounce back this season.
Izzo addressed several things in the press conference, but what might be the most notable, is the announcement of the 2021-22 team capatains.

Senior Gabe Brown will be joined by junior Malik Hall as the leaders of this years’ Spartans team.
Both players have been through a lot with the program and have seen this team at its highest, as well as its lowest.
Coach Izzo has picked two great leaders to lead the team into the 2021-22 campaign.
