Michigan State Basketball is set to headline the 2021 Battle 4 Atlantis, but it looks like they won’t be the only high profile basketball team in the field. According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, the Battle 4 Atlantis field is set with Baylor rounding out the tournament as the eighth team.
If his sources are correct, the field will now look like this:
- Michigan State
- Baylor
- UConn
- Syracuse
- Auburn
- VCU
- Loyola-Chicago
The Battle 4 Atlantis takes place over the Thanksgiving weekend in the Bahamas. The inclusion of Baylor is particularly interesting, because the last time Baylor and Michigan State played in this tournament, Baylor won the championship over Louisville while the Spartans took third place after beating Wichita State.
