Michigan State alumnus signs WWE contract

A Michigan State alumnus has earned a contract with the WWE, the popular wrestling and sports entertainment company. Lea Mitchell, a former Michigan State gymnast, earned her chance at a professional wrestling career after having a successful tryout in Nashville ahead of the company’s SummerSlam event.

Mitchell was a part of the Michigan State gymnastics team from 2018-2022 where she was a superstar for the Spartans.
