Michigan’s Rashan Gary making top-30 visit to Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals will host Michigan defensive lineman Rashan Gary on one of his top-30 visits ahead of the 2019 NFL draft.

Gary, a possible first-round prospect, has meets with the New York teams, Jacksonville Jaguars and Bengals, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.

Standing at 6’4″ and 277 pounds, Gary had a superb combine, running the 40-yard dash in 4.58 seconds, leaping 38 and 120 inches on the vertical and broad jump, respectively, as well as going for 7.26 and 4.29 seconds on the three-cone drill and 20-yard shuttle, respectively.

Gary boasts some of the best upside in the class if he lands with the right staff. He’s probably a bit of a reach for the Bengals at No. 11, but the solid run defense and ability to disrupt even before some meaningful development in areas like hand usage makes him an intriguing idea.
